Hop Earth on mobile
Mobile works in a limited way. Treat it as experimental, start with a short coastal or grid route, and keep a desktop as the fallback.

01Current mobile controls
Public creator notes from August 2026 mentioned a mobile summon button and an invisible thumbstick, plus the line that mobile is not optimized. Follow the live overlay. Do not assume desktop WASD maps one-to-one.
02Prepare the browser
- Use a current Safari or Chrome tab — not an in-app webview.
- Rotate to landscape before you enter the driving scene.
- Allow the official play window. Close memory-heavy tabs.
- Keep hardware acceleration on if the phone offers the toggle.
03When desktop is better
Missing touch prompts, a black world, overheating, or any mountain route: switch to a keyboard. Mulholland, Hakone, and Chapman's Peak are poor first mobile sessions. Da Nang beach and Chicago grid are kinder.
